Author Samba Authentication

I have a Linux server running RH7.2. For some reason Samba is
authenticating the windows user as guest automatically. It just asks
for the password. Does anyone know how I can get it to let me enter a
username also?

I am not sure if the problem is on the windows end or the linux end.
I log into windows as the user name that I want to log into the server
with. Passwords are the same, and I have run smbpasswd. It is asking
for the correct password, it just authenticates as the wrong user.

Thanks

Well, you did not say anything about your smb.conf file. Do you have
added the samba users and activated them?
