I was running md91 on my home laptop, but because
rh9 is becoming our corporate standard i wanted to
install rh9 instead.

ok, my problem is i can no longer get the laptop
to boot the cd #1 install (!) -- it always defaults
to the c: drive even if i set the boot order to
boot cd 1st in the BIOS (!).

Can there be something about the boot sector that
forces the machine to boot from disk?

Is there some low level destructive format i can do ?
