| OfficeJet500 installed under CUPS on RH9 system.
Am able to print Printer Test Page from: localhost:631
(CUPS configuration page) But nowhere else.
lpr or lp command doesn't do anything. I thought I saw that lpd was
started on boot up, but find that lpd is not running, so I start it,
with error:
============================
# service lpd start
Starting lpd: Warning - OfficeJet500: Bad printcap entry - missing
'sd' or 'client' entry?
============================
So it appears I have problem with
"printcap entry - missing 'sd' or 'client' entry"
just not sure what to do about it.
Any clues?

I had a similar prob once and I used redhat-config-printer to delete and install
the printer again. That fixed my problem back then.
Other than that - no clue right now.
Good Luck . . . Martin
