Hi,
I have some problems with my ethernet card. It is a rare issue.
Two days ago I reinstall my Redhat 7.2 (Enigma) and my ethernet card works
fine. It is a cheap card ne compatible but it work fine from 5 years ago. I
have their configuration details ( irq=4 and io=Ox240) and yesterday after
the installation all works fine.
There are a energy cut in my house and when my system is running again
there are some problem with the ethernet card and it don't work again.

if i prove to set up manually (modprobe ne irq=4 io=0x240) i receive these
messages:

/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/net/ne.o: invalid parameter parm_mem
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/net/ne.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/net/ne.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/net/ne.o: insmod ne failed

I don't understand what is the problem, and I believe that I don't remember
something needed but I can't find it.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks.
