| Hi. I've been trying to get a RedHat 9 machine built from CDs I got from a
Magazine. Everything seems to go well but it gets to the 2nd CD and almost
finished it says it can't find zlib-devel-1.1.4-8. This RPM is on the CD so
I'm not sure why it can't be found.
Putting that aside, I have created a Fresh Install selecting a few options
so I can do an install via NFS. I have a KS.cfg file I wish to use as a Base
Install. After copying over the RedHat directory from the CDs, how do I boot
and connect to this share and use a ks.cfg file to install RedHat 9?
Thank you in advanced for any assistance.
Regards,
Shane

Something similar once happened to me. The CD drive had trouble reading
the CD. Without interrupting the installation process I pressed the
eject button the CD drive, then re-inserted the same CD. A few seconds
after hearing the drive motor steadily run I clicked on the "Retry" (or
similar) button. The installation process resumed.
Hope this helps.

DJ
