Gretings gurus.

I have an appliance which has a stripped down version of RH 6.0 on it. I
want to install RH 9 in its stead. My problem is this:

There are only 3 network, and 1 serial port for connectivity to this
apliance. I does contain a 10 gig HD, which I have backed up to another
drive.

When the original OS boots up, it ports all output to the serial port,
which can be interfaced with a terminal session.I can actually gain root
access at this point through the com port.

I cannot determine how to add a cdrom in order to install RH 9, but I
think I could possibly get it to instal from files if I had them on the HD.?

Either way, I am interested in getting the output to port to serial
during bootup, as it already does, and wondered if anyone here knows how
to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance,
Jerry
