Help - Fedora Add Programs - NO CD!

| Hello,
I recently installed Fedora Core1 on an old Compaq box I has sitting around.
My intention was to use it as a Samba server, for which is working quite
nicely.
However, since that time, I have decided to install Apache and mySQL.
Here's where the problem starts.
I originally installed using FTP (ftp.nrc.ca) - the system does not have a
CD-ROM,
as I gutted it shortly after installing (it was there just in case). Now I
would like to
install mysql and Apache using the Add/Remove Applications dialog -
redhat-config-packages - I am aware of, and have fix, the discrepancies that
the
'method.py' script contained, so please do not post anything regarding the
'Redhat' ref.
Anyway, I downloaded the ISO's via BT and have created a loopback mount
point to
the CD-ROM's mount (/dev/cdrom) - when I nav there everything looks fine,
however
r-c-p seems to see things differently.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem or to potentially redirect
r-c-p to see
the original FTP server location so I can just continue to grab them off
there.
So far, Fedora is the /only/ distro that I have run into where it auto
resets my source
location as it wishes.
Here is the command used to mount - I've used it before and it *should* be
working
but for some reason, it doesn't seem to satisfy Fedora.
mount -o loop -t iso9660 yarrow-test1-x86_64-disc1.iso /mnt/cdrom
I've looked through the Python scripts in the
/usr/share/redhat-config-packages
dir - I see the correct references being made, however it still does not
seem to work.
Can someone help me out here, I'm a bit confused as to what the problem is.

Why don't you configure up2date and/or yum to use a mirror server

and then run "up2date httpd mysql-server" or "yum install httpd
mysql-server"? This way you can get all update packages as well.

| Thank you for your response, but it does not fix the problem at hand. I
don't think you fully understood what I was getting at.
The point is that I need to access the ISO images from the local disk as the
system does not have a CDROM. I have already reconfigured yum to run off the
NRC FTP server, but that does not solve the problem at all. What I need is
an easy to understand (aka: visual) system that the other people using the
server can understand. This said, redhat-config-packages can, and should be
able to access sources not located on CD.
If it can not - which is most obvious at this point - then what has been
changed to make this impossible - as it is possible on every other linux
distro I have ever used - including Mandrake's source setting dialog, which
allows you to change it on the fly. I find this lack of a main feature to be
very much out of character for Redhat, especially regarding their mentality
towards Fedora.
If you can not post a fix or and feedback on fixing this specific problem -
not another workaround, then please don't bother responding to this post.
