I just installed Fedora Core 2 Test 3 on my Toshiba laptop.. runs great, but
for some reason the display is contained in what looks to be a 640x480 box
centered in my monitor.. When I try to configure the system to 1024x768 or
800x600 (both are options, and are known working configurations (In Windows
at least)), I get the message saying the settings have been saved and to
restart X.. I do, and nothing changes..

Is there any way I can force X to use the better resolution?

Thanks!
