Author why linux will not be the #1 os?

linux will not be the #1 desktop. X-window has not improved at all. it
emulates the same old unix. programmers has tried anything new at all.
they copy the same old shit.
why can't you create something different? be creative. gui is the first
thing users look for. one linux version works, upgrade to the next
version, the screen is dark. but thanks for all your work.
just a piece/peace of mind.

Linux is an operating system. What you're talking about are the GUIs that go
on top of it - KDE, ICEwm, Gnome, X-windows. Improving Linux won't have any
effect on the appearance of a GUI.
