Hi all,

I have a fresh install of Redhat 9. I am trying to install an SRPM for my
LAN interface, but I don't seem to have the kernel source where it expects
to find it. I think I have installed the kernel source correctly, but I'm
not really sure. Here's what I did:

# Copy the package from Redhat 9's 2nd source CD
cd /mnt/cdrom/SRPMS
rpm -ivh kernel-2.4.20-6.src.rpm

# Build the package
cd /usr/src/redhat
rpmbuild -bb SPECS/kernel-2.4.20-6.spec #or whatever its called

After I do this, I notice that there is not yet any /usr/src/linux*
directories. Any hints on how to get the source in the right spot?

Dave.
