Hi,

Back when RH9 first came out, I downloaded it and installed it on my Dell
Inspiron 7500. From the outset it ran great. For some reason, however, I am
all of the sudden having an issue with my Xircom PCMCIA RealPort Cardbus
adapter (10/100 + 56k modem) where it is no longer being recognized either
by cardmgr or the pcmcia interface. The syslog messages report a connection,
but that the xircom_probe cannot allocate memory area. The module xircom_cb
gets loaded, but it is not associated with the pcmcia_core module, or
anything else. Fortunately, I have another 10/100 card for availability, but
it lacks the ethernet and modem capabilities of the Xircom, so I 'd really
like to get it functioning again. The only updates to the system since its
installation were via up2date or Ximian red-carpet.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ian
