| Hi,
my problem:
I'm running the following system:
Dual Xeon 3GHz MSI: MS-9214
Lan: 2 INTEL Dual Gigabit LAN (82546EB)
fedora 1 with kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2174
After booting, the network interfaces go down after about 15 minutes. The
system runs, but offline.
I turned off hyperthreading and acpi (in the bios and with the
kernel-parameter acpi=off) what didn't change anything.
The only solution i found for the moment was to install a cron-job that
restarts the network every 5 minutes.
What's going on here???
regards
Gernot

Hardware a possibility? Are the chips on your network cards getting hot?
