kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl ?
|

| Hello there,
I´m trying to get my nvidia card to work and therefore I need the right
kernel-modules. I can only find kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl modules, but
not kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl itself.
I could find kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2190.nptl but no kernel modules to go
with. Sigh ...
Help would be appreciated. I added several repositories to my yum.conf.
Cheers,
David

You need the kernel-source package if you want to compile the NVidia
driver your own.

..2190 is no official stable FC1 kernel.

No valid information. I breathe air.
rpm.livna.org for instance has compiled NVidia driver modules for the
latest FC1 kernel .2188.

This carbon unit doesn´t want to compile modules himself. Valid enough? :-)
