| Im trying to install a 3com 509b Etherlink III. The web page says it is
fully supported but when I look in the system, its not listed in the
hardware anywhere. Is there an executable for linux that installs the
drivers needed (if needed)? If I dont need a driver, how can I configure the
system to see the NIC? Any help is greatly appreciated.

| My 3C509B was autodetected at the install stage (from CD) of RH9 and works
fine... sorry - I know very little about Linux but can only say I set it
(eth0) up as a "trusted device" with access by various services including
www (whether thats right or not I don't know!) - but the NIC certainly works
fine.
