Got myself an RH7.2 box on the office desktop.
Kinda wonky install, like telnet but not telnet-server.
Installed telnet-server ( 0.17-20 matching telnet ) but cannot
telnet to the box in question using plain old telnet <host>.
in.telnetd seems to be istalled correctly and the telnet udp/tcp entries
are there in /etc/services but I cannot connect.
Interestingly enough if I start in.telentd by hand in debug mode with an
suitable port specified, I can connect.
Any ideas?

ssh works by the way.
