Hi folks!

I got the internet on eth1 and the LAN on eth0. IP forwarding and
SNAT'ing from eth0 to eth1is working, so my Windows PC can surf&use
the internet just fine.

I d also like to chat with MSN 6 and for this I need the UPNPD daemon.
However I cannot make this daemon work for voice-chatting :-(

I read all sorts of docs and stuffs and tried and compiled it
(upnpsdk-1.0.4, linux-igd 0.92) myself and used also a working binary
from a SuSE 8.2 firewall but on my RH9 the voice chat doesnt work.

The upnpd starts fine. I registers itself and reports it could add the
masquerading stuff etc. all fine.

When I start MSN 6 it is putting msgs into the log saying it was
successfully registering port such and such.

Message-Chatting works fine however when I open audio to a MSN contact
it starts but then Messenger stays "... connecting to other client..."
and after some time it times out and the connection cant be
established.

So I would like to know if anybody got UPNPD for MSN voice chat
working on RH9? Did you self-compile it and if yes, then which sources
did you use and did you apply the patch in this source file ssdplib.c?
If you didnt compile but got it still working, then how ? Please? :-)

Thanks for any help,
Philipp Ott
