no connection behind router
|

| I am using RH9 for some time now, working fine. I used to have it connected
via a PC as a router running XP. Now I have a number of computers behind a
normal ruoter with switch and I can't get the RH onto the network anymore. I
the past it was plug it in and it worked without any adjustments or change
of settings, it was all perfectly running.
I have set it to obtain an IP adress automaticaly, nothing is detected than.
Manualy it I have been ablr to get an active connection, but I do not get an
internet connection. As I am a bid of a newbee with Linux, I do not know how
to solve this. With windows I know by now how to get it to work, you learn
after many years of stugeling with this fine software, but as said with
Linux I am not that far yet.
Thanks for your help

I have the exact same problem behind a d-link brioadband router with
Fedora. I can access pc's and devices behind the router but cannot
access outside of it. Windows pc's on same router work fine and can
access both ways.

from other things i read i believe that is the problem. I do not think
the dhcp server is populating the gateway correctly on fedora. I am
going to make the changes and try again
