Hi,

I have a Redhat (8.0) Linux directory which I want to backup onto tape
using backup software on a Windows 2K server. After trying unsucessfully
to get SAMBA to work, I have given up. Could anyone please explain :

1). How I can get the Win2K server to map to the Linux directory as an
extra drive and backup the files onto tapes

2). Once the files are backed up on tape, I have a question about
restoration. Since the two OS's are different, can I restore the files
back from the tape to the Linux directory?

3). I would like to print documents from my Linux machine, using a
printer shared accross my Windows machines. I have not been sucessful
at doing this yet. Any info or URLs showing how to do his will be most
welcome.

Many Thanks
