Job Title: Unix / Systems Administrator
Location: Anaheim, Ca.
Term: 90 day temp-to-permanent
Rate: $40 - 60 hr. D.O.E.

We have a temp-to-perm position for a Network / Systems Administrator with a
good client of ours located in Anaheim. The initial assignment will be for
90 days with an option to convert to a permanent position thereafter. The
following is a list of what they require:



Must have:

Unix Administration (10 Unix boxes)

Systems Analysis knowledge

Has a strong Business Acumen and Business Processes

People Skills (extremely important)

Self motivated

Available 24/7

Ability to work in a heterogeneous, distributed environment of 30+ desk tops
at multiple locations

Supervision of 1 person



Server Software

Linux

BSD

Win NT

Win Server 2000



Client Software

Win 95, 98, XP



Useful Skills

TCP/ IP

Security Procedures

E-Mail

HTML

Shell Scripting



NOTE: The company plans a review of all systems for 2004, so if you convert
to a permanent employee, you will be interfacing with several managers to
determine the best systems required to automate their departments. You will
then design the system, purchase the required hardware and software, and
install the new infrastructure.



Also, if you have other skills such as web design and development, you can
get involved in that area too.
