Sorry if this is somewhat offtopic....I have a cable connection that goes
into my netgear router (192.168.0.1) I have 3 Windows Pc's connected to that
and on the 4th port I have that running to another router (linksys
192.168.1.1) which goes to my linux server and 2 other windows machines. The
internet works fine on all these machines, but my problem is I cannot get my
web page to show up when I do a www request to my linux box from the
internet. If I do a request to 192.168.1.109 from any machine (That is my
linux box Ip) the webpage comes up. But if I do it to my internet Ip, it
doesnt work. I have setup a port forward on the netgear for port 80 to
192.168.0.2 which is the ip that my linksys router is assigned. Then I setup
a port forward in the linksys port 80 to my 1.109 ip. But regardless of what
I do, I cannot get it to show.

I thought maybe if I put both routers on the same segment 192.168.0.x that
it would work then I could port forward right from the netgear to the linux
box ip, but when i changed the ip of my linksys to 192.168.0.100, the
internet came to a screaching hault. I tried to reset both routers and the
cable modem but no luck, for some reason I cannot get both routers on the
same segment. Any ideas on what I can do. I really do not want to put my
linux box on the Dmz for obvious reasons...I have posted an image here:

Thanks,
Jim
