Warning: newbie on the loose!

I have installed RH9. I need to create a network share to copy file from
a MacOS X machine. SMB is running.

From "My Network Places" on the Windows 2000 box, the machine appears as
"localhost". Obviously any attempt to access this fails.

From the MacOS X box, the connection is refused for incorrect user name
or password, but it never presents an authorization dialog.

From the RH7 machine, I can list the first level directories but any
attempt to list the directory contents result in an empty result.

When I open the KDE Properties dialog on the RH9 box, the tab "Local Net
Sharing" presents an error message:

Error when running "filesharelist". Check if installed and in $PATH or
/usr/sbin

Well is it not in /usr/sbin/. It is not listed in the RPM manager.

Where is this package? Can I get it by re-running the CD installer and
using custom package selection?

TIA, from a slighly frazzled newbie.
