Author Sourcing Redhat 7.3 Compatible PCI Modems

Hi Folks,

I would like to ask for some some help in sourcing appropriate PCI
internal modems that will allow operation of the Hayes Command set
under Redhat 7.3. Particularly ATS0 = x for autoanswer capability.

I am aware that it may not be sufficient to know the
manufacturer’s serial number of the modem but also the chip set
used. The following site seems
to be a mine of useful information but a quick inspection of this
indicates
it may be a couple of years out of date :

Any help in tracking these modems down and where to source them
greatly appreciated

regards

David
