Installed Fedora Core 2, with a NIC installed. Seems the card was bad, so I
switched it out. I ran /sbin/lspci -v and it shows the new card. When i go
to network device control, i do not have a card listed. Any help would be
appreciated.

No, you did not install Fedora Core 2 or you went back from future. but I
guess you have installed Fedora Core 2 test 2. Running a test release you
should better subscribe the test mailing list.

Probably the old card is still in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and/or /etc/modules.conf. Maybe
run kudzu to let it recognize the new PCI card.
