I want to make an IPTABLE firewall in RH8 for an internal LAN, but I have a
DHCP client with my ISP. How do I address the changing dynamic IP address?

Do I add IPADDRESS="eth0" in the rule set and do a daily reboot?

Can depend on your dhcp client.
I know with dhcpcd you create a script which will be called anytime
the ip address changes. man dhcpcd for script name.

I see you are on cox. I am on comcast and my dhcp ip address has
changed twice or three times since I started Oct-1999.
One was a node split and the other was a cable modem change.
