Hey Folks, Sorry if this might not be the exact group to post this in, if
not, please refer me to a better group...

I am looking to make a remote connection to my Linux RedHat 8.0 box from
Windows XP but in the same style as you can as Remote Desktop Connection...

Is this possible? Is there software similar to PC Anywhere that will do
this MS to RH?

Any input will be greatly appreciated... I enjoy command line, but
sometimes, I would really like to connect to my linux desktop and work from
home...

Appreciate the help!

I am guessing you could use vnc for that.

vnc, tightvnc etc. I've used tightvnc and accessed my desktop using a
webbrowser that enables javascript I think it is.

You could also use something like PuTTY to ssh into your home machine
and start some applications. You will need an X server for that.
