| Greetings:
I just switched over to redhat Fedora from SuSE 7.3.
I've got several security cameras that upload images to my Linux computer
via a program called Webcam32. It uses ftp to upload the jpg images.
Recently, my system was compromised. I assume someone sniffed the passwords
during the ftp session, which runs "in the clear".
Does anyone have any ideas how I can still use my software to upload images
to the server via ftp, without sending the password in the clear?
