I'd like to be able to limit talk(1) on a redhat 9.0 internet server
to work only with a limited set of machines on the internet.

It would be great if this could be configured with something like
/etc/hosts.allow and/or /etc/hosts.deny, but the man pages make
no reference to this, and I tried intuitive things like "in.ntalkd"
entries in those files, but they weren't being used.

Is there any way to do this, besides configuring a firewall?
