Author Error installing kernel source package

Hi all.
When I try to install the kernel source package as below, I get
"Segmentation fault" error message:

# rpm -Uhv kernel-source-2.4.20-18.9.i386.rpm
Preparing... ##### [100%]
Segmentation fault

Has anyone got any ideas?
