| I have a machine where the /var dir was damaged. I've got it partly restored
from an older backup but when I run up2date now I get the following:
<snip>
[root@hoit spool]# up2date -u
Your GPG keyring does not contain the Red Hat, Inc. public key.
Without it, you will be unable to verify that packages Update Agent
downloads
are securely signed by Red Hat.
Your Update Agent options specify that you want to use GPG.
To install the key, run the following as root:
rpm --import /usr/share/rhn/RPM-GPG-KEY
</snip>
Of course this is the same as for a new installation sp I assume some files
were residing somewhere under /var are now gone.
Anyways, I do as I'm told and rerun the import:
<snip>
[root@hoit spool]# rpm --import /usr/share/rhn/RPM-GPG-KEY
[root@hoit spool]# up2date -u

Still get the same message. How can I remedy this? Are there some files I
can delete (in /etc/sysconfig/rhn?) to start from scratch with the up2date
or something?
