Hi,

I try to install 'wine' with file 'wine-0.9.2-1rh9winehq.i686.rpm' on my
RedHAt 9.0 computer, but i get following error: "the following package could
not be installed: required glibc >=2.3.2-27.9.7".

I have now 'glibc-2.3.2-11.9.i686.rpm' installed, so i downloaded file
'glibc-2.3.2-27.9.7.i686.rpm' and installed it...

But from that moment, i couldn't start Firefox 1.5 and worst ... KDE was
frozen. So i did a reboot, but same thing: i couldn't login anymore with
KDE. I switched to text-mode and there, i reinstalled
'glibc-2.3.2-11.9.i686.rpm'. From then, KDE was back ...

Any idea what happend? Any idea how to install 'wine'?
Thanks
Bill
