I am running redhat 9.0 on two gateway solo 9100 laptops with 192 MB of
memory running at 300 MHZ. All errata and
and rpms are up to date. the X server that i am attempting to connect is
naed enterprise1701.

From the launching command named IO is:

xterm -display enterprise1701:0.0

I receivethe following error.

xterm Xt error: Can't open display: enterprise1701:0.0
[birdm@io ~]$ xterm -display enterprise1701:0.0
Xlib: connection to "enterprise1701:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
