Hello everyone!

Could anybody help me with my problem? I just updated my kernel with
up2date, rebooted, and now X won't start.

After reboot i log in as a user or root and type 'startx'. It looks like it
starts up but clicks and drops me back at the command prompt.

There are no indications of any errors anywhere, including
/var/log/XFree86.0.log and redhat-configure-xfree86 works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Nico C. Kalteis
