UP2Date Fedora Nubie Dumb Question

| Okay:
After I run up2date (I checked all, what can I say), what happens. I tried
it like three times, guess its a connection thing and until I realize what
packages I really need I am going to be the local bandwidth hog.
Do the RPM packages do their own thing, that is to say, update themselves or
is there something that I have to do in the process.
Also, does anybody know if they have fixed this Prism54 problem with the
Netgear WG511 cards yet? I see that its picked up, but when I try to set it
up I dont get that option. Also tried to add the /user/lib/hotplug fix as
per various sites but that directory does not appear in my build.
The big thing with me is to get this thing up and running on a wireless
laptop, then I can start to realize that every bit of learning is just that,
learning and a hell of an excersize in patience!

Have you looked at this page?
http://prism54.org/
Your card is one of the cards listed to work with this driver with a success
rate of 90.27%. I hope the documentation is good enough for you to get
things running -- if not, maybe someone here can help.
