Cannot Read the CD from Add/Remove Applications

I using Fedora Core 2 hosted by Microsoft VirtualPC 2004. When I used
the Add/Remove Applications to install the additional package, it asked
to insert a CD. I inserted a CD but it reported cannot read. However, I
can read the CD content from either terminal or clicked on the desktop
icon Computer.

Can I copy all CDs to a directory in harddrive and tell the "Add/Remove
Applications" to read from that directory instead of CD ?
