I have done this once and had to reinstall XP. Is there any special way
of getting Fedora to dual boot with XP on the same drive? I have Part
Magic 8 already...any ideas would be greatly appreciated....

You don't need Partition Magic you can use any of the following, the
Windows boot manager, GRUB (FC2) or LILO (FC).

Since it sounds like you already have both Windows XP and Fedora Core 2
installed, all you have to do is re-install the Linux (FC2) boot manager
by booting with the FC2 installation media (the 1st CD or DVD) in rescue
mode.

To do this when the menu screen is displayed type 'linux rescue' without
the quotes, answer a few questions and read the on screen messages. The
last one will tell you how to chroot, follow the instructions. When ready
at the prompt type; grub-install --recheck /dev/hda

Or follow the instructions here to use the Windows boot manager;

Note: GRUB or LILO needs to be installed on the first Linux partition for
this to work.
