OK, I got it:
---
1) in KSCD click on Extras->Config, and then use /dev/hdb (or your CDROM
device).

2) as root: (set proper permissions)
chmod 777 /dev/hdb

That'a all.

This cannot really be called a bug, however it would be nice, like in
previous versions to have this properly setup by the Fedora installer.
(Anaconda).

I cannot help hoping that one day, someone will port the Suse Yast system
setup tools to Fedora: it is now Open Source (but not fully GPL?).

It would be just fair for Suse/Novell to make Yast fully available under the
GPL, after all SuSE have greatly benefited from the RPM work of Red-Hat !
