| Hey y'all,
I just installed RedHat 2.1 Advanced Server on 2 Dell PowerEdge 3250
machines.
The keyboard worked fine during the RH Text-Based install, however doesn't
work when it boots into the OS.
The PowerEdge 3250's are kind of funky in that there aren't any PS/2
connectors for the keyboard or mouse. You connect a USB cable into one USB
port, that cable then splits into two PS/2 connectors that then connect to a
PS/2 keyboard and mouse.
I'm able to use the machines by ssh'n in, so it's not a major problem, just
annoying.
I ran kudzu, it identified "Generic USB keyboard" as an unused driver and
dumped the config for that device, it didn't however, identify anything new.
I've tried running up2date, however I only have a demo account, and when it
runs, it claims everything is up to date, even though there should be
pleanty of updates for a base install.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike
