The host name 'localhost' can not be resolved

| Hi, I am trying to install r/3(SR1) on Redhat 9.0, ora 8.1.7, I was hit by an
error when i am trying to install central.r3s
ERROR 2005-02-23 23:53:32 CENTRALINSTANCE_IND_ORA SubstituteVariables:0
The host name 'localhost' can not be resolved. Please see manual
'Network Integration of SAP System Servers'.
at the state resolving hostname,
please update me if you have any solution, any advices will be highly appreciated.

What is in your /etc/hosts and /etc/nsswitch.conf files? Is
is possible you edited /etc/hosts and removed the localhost
entry? (If so, put it back and leave it, per the comment.)
