I am looking into a H/A LVS cluster and am looking at Redhat 9
Enterprise(Piranha?) on a pair of Dell PowerEdge 650's. (P4/512ram) I have
researched the doc that is out there and want to insure I have the best
solution. What is the difference between RH-e and just getting the packages
yourself mentioned on the LVS site? It also looks like Piranha may have some
config tools.

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/...ial-setup.html.

I need auto stateful failover and config sync. I have worked with F5 BigIP
extensively but dont want to drop 60k on this solution. I will be load
balancing about 50 ssl shopping sites on this.

What are my options? What do you recommend for config, etc... Is there a
commercial appliance solution to do this? I am looking forward to doing this
but want to inusre I am on target.

Thanks in advance
