Author Installing Fedora with XFS.

Is there anyway to install Fedora with XFS right from the CD?
I really dont want to go through all the hassle of migrating an ext3
filesystem
to XFS and would rather do everything from the install program. The XFS
web site states that the new 2.4.9 kernels and RH 9 and Fedora all come
with XFS.

According to http://fedoranews.org/krishnan/tips/tip010.shtml you can
install Fedora on ReiserFS or JFS by typing either linux reiserfs or linux
jfs at the installer prompt, so you may be able to use xfs by typing linux
xfs at the installer prompt. Let us know if it works.

Never mind, I tried it myself on a spare computer, and it doesn't work.
You'll have to format the disks as XFS first, then install Fedora.

OK. Where do I get the installer for Fedora. I checked out the XFS site
and the 7.3 installer
is not there anymore and perousing the ftp site there is no installer for
release 1.3.1. ARG!!!

Or better yet. I have no problem with installing Fedora using ext3 and then
converting
to XFS after I install the rpms. However I dont have the disk space to move
my
file system around and create temporary mount points when im doing it. Is
there
a Linux file system converter out there .. aside from just converting to and
fro
ext2/3.
