Author Where can I find old RH 7.2/7.3 kernels ?

At one point in time, RH released 2.4.18-5 and 2.4.18-10 kernels for RH
7.2 and RH 7.3.

For example, kernel-2.4.18-10 are mentioned in here:

http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2002-158.html

Granted that that the files listed in there has been updated by newer
erratas. However, I was still expecting them to be listed under
http://updates.redhat.com/

It turns out it ( and FTP mirrors around the world ) only retains the
latest kernel for each specific release.

The reason I need a very specific kernel release is due to a binary
module ( CheckPoint SecureRemote ) which specifically mentioned will
only work with the specified RH kernel release numbers.

I found one place though which keeps them old kernel releases:

http://software.stanford.edu/pub/mi...7.3/en/os/i386/

However, how can I be sure that it was the RH kernel ?
Anyone know if there's a place at RH's site where you can download older
kernel releases ?

My ISP , iiNet in Perth , West Australia , has RH 7.3 ( Valhalla ) listed
on their site , they are still there as I just checked.
I am not sure if you can get access to them , but there is a public
directory , so maybe you can.

They have got the 3 ISOs for RH 7.2 - RH 7.3 as well as all the updates ,
RPMS , the kernels that I have found are :
2.4.18-3.i386
2.4.18-27.7
2.4.20-28.7
I think there could be other kernels on the site , you will have to check

You should be able to access either one of these sites

ftp://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/

ftp://ftp.iinet.net.au/

Since the link points to a useful (?) kernel, I'm assuming you're
asking how you can verify that the package is a copy of a "genuine" RH
kernel. Correct?

If so, rather than explain it all -- and mess it up in the process --
just check this link. You'll probably want to download a copy of the
whole thing if you don't already have it. It's a "must have".
