Hi,

Running FC5: because I thought I didn't use samba, I removed both
samba-common and samba-client. While processing, I noticed it "cleaned
up" many packages. When it was done, I noticed all desktop-icons gone.
They're still present in Desktop (all names coloured green in
gnome-terminal), but nothing else. Is samba really necessary? How can I
undo all those "cleanups"?

Thanks,

Huub
