RHELAS4 U3 x86_64 LSI u320-1 raid controller

| I am trying to install RHEL u3 64bit on an Newisys 4300 AMD server with
a LSI u320-1 raid controller. The install appears to load a megaraid
LSI driver but when I get to the partitoning section the install fails.
It seems to work fine on the 32bit release but the 64bit won't get past
that point. Has anyone gotten this to work, or can you recommend
another SCSI raid controller known to work with RHELAS4 U3 64 bit? I
have tried contacting support but since I am evaluating for purchase
they were not able to help me until I actually buy the license, of
course I don't want to buy the license until I get it installed and
working. This is destined to be a Oracle 64bit server so the 64bit
version is a requirement.
Thanks for any pointers.

| Solution turns out is to update the raid card firmware to the latest
version. This is something that neither LSI support nor Redhat pre
sales either knew to suggest or were willing to suggest.
Thanks
