Can you explain what permissions you have, and what you are trying to set?
Also, what platform/OS and what Service Pack?
Lastly, are you using Frontpage Server Extensions?

Cheers
Ken

What permissions do each of these groups have?
And what permissions are you trying to set?

Cheers
Ken

If you remove "Everyone" you will need to grant access to the
IUSR_<machinename> account (RX) if you want to allow anonymous access to
your website (otherwise, the anonymous user account can not read the files
off the hard disk).

If you are using FPSE2000, then I believe that the authors, browsers and
admins need those user rights, otherwise authoring via Frontpage clients (eg
Frontpage, Interdev, Visual Studio) will stop working.

SYSTEM should have Full Control

Cheers
Ken
