I am having problems with IIS on Windows 2000 Pro.

When I attempt to launch the interface (Internet Services Manager) after a
long pause I get a message...

"Error Connecting to <my computer name>

The system cannot find the path specified.

Do you want to continue to attempt to connect to it in the future"

Due to this problem I cannot create new ASP Web apps.

Can anyone help with this ?

Thanks

Hi,

If you close the ISM and reopen it do you still get this error? You
usually get that error if you have left ISM open and restarted IIS. If the
error never goes away you may be looking at metabase corruption.
Do your event logs show iis crashing or restarting?
