| Thanks but I followed as closely as I could but am unable to click UrlScan, and then click the Down button to move UrlScan below Fpexedll.dll because UrlScan has a High Priority and Fpexedll.dll has a Low Priority and they won't pass each other. Even tried to edit them to try to change priorities but no such luck, no way apparent to do so. Any other ideas would be great...anybody?

| NOTE: Before you can complete the following procedure, you need to correctly
set the AllowLateScanning=1 setting in the Urlscan.ini file to load URLScan
as a low priority filter. To do this, follow the procedure in the "Modifying
the Default URLScan Configuration File" section earlier in this article.
Do you change the AllowLateScanning ?
This section is optional, right ? If still no luck, stop IIS change it, then
restart IIS.

| There's nothing being blocked, detail you see in the log is urlscan
initialization log.
however, I see .asp file is part of rejected extension.
Is this the latest urlscan log ? what's the problem you having with
frontpage now ?
have you try microsoft.public.frontpage.windows.extensionsnt group ?

| yes this is the latest log...not to worried about .asp being blocked. the
problem is the same as in the begining, can't enable front page extensions
on new web sites. remove UrlScan and I can enable them, install and make
all the .ini changes (as per microsoft directions) and can't enable them.
thinking about forgetting about UrlScan altogether, seems more work than
it's worth unless you can come up with a for sure cure. thanks for all your
help so far though.
