POP3 server not working right
|
|
|
| Forgive me if I grabbed the wrong group. There's no list for the POP3
server, so I thought this may be where to look.
Windows Server 2003.
I have a small POP3 server running there for a single email address, for
testing purposes and other minor uses. It has been working fine until the
last day or so, and now I can't get any email from it. My email from a
different machine hits the server, but it doesn't get anywhere:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'xxxx.xxxxxxxxx.net', Server: 'xxxx.xxxxxxxxx.net',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Anyone have a suggestion? I've restarted the service, rebooted the server,
and checked the addressing, and all is normal. Nothing shows up in the Event
Log, either.
I'm open to ideas.
