| I am having trouble estimating the number of clients that can access a
webcast on the 2003 server media services. We webcast an audio play by play
of high school football games using this server. We have a dsl line with
700kb upload. I get the messages that there are 5 clients on. If I log off
(shut the media player), I can't get back on when there are already 5 clients
on. that seems very very few for the bandwidth. I moved my webserver onto a
different ip address to get the browser traffic off the line and still see
only 5 clients on. Is this an accurate report (I remember that in w2k server,
there was no ongoing report of how many were currently logged on. I have had
not much luck in reading the server logs for media services. This makes if
difficult to determine how much more bandwidth we need to serve about 50
concurrent clients.
