| Hi,
We have been running a Windows NT 4 (SP5) Server with IIS to run our
Intranet for sometime. However, we are trying to delete no longer required
files from our site. We receive a Sharing Violation error when trying to
delete the files. We can edit and save the files no problems, just can't
remove them. I appreciate there are some problems with caching which causes
this type of issue, but unfortunately have found no way to resolve this
issue.
Any help would be muchly appreciated!
Thanks,
Dave (MCP - doesn't seem to have done me any good!!)

| Have you tried stopping the w3 service before deleting the files ?
