seems that iis 6 is using 443 even though it hasnt been configured to do so.
ive got a workaround for running 443 services, start them first then start iis
but i dont like doing it.
any ideas ?

IIS won't bind to 443 unless you have a cert installed and configured to
bind to that port.

Try running netstat -ano

then track down the port to the pid, and figure out what software is taking
over 443... then report back here
